“Les Amis de La Martinerie” at the A2I’s 2026 Tourism Exchange

For the promotional event organized by the Indre Department’s Attractiveness Agency (A2I), three of our volunteers—Francine and the two Marie-Claudes—were present to enhance our visibility and promote the Departmental House of Military Memory (“La Maison départementale de la mémoire militaire”).

Their mission: to distribute our brochures, continue building awareness of our organization, and answer questions from the many visitors representing tourist offices, attractions, vacation rentals, and guesthouses across the departments of Indre, Cher, Creuse, Vienne, and Indre-et-Loire.

It was a wonderful morning filled with many encounters, notably with a Departmental Councilor (who also serves as a mayor), who offered to give us a flag. Further meetings with elected officials are expected to pave the way for us to install our exhibitions in senior living residences.
