After discovering part of “Les Amis de La Martinerie” 's collections at the exhibition held on November 11, 2025, in the community hall, the fifth- and sixth-grade students from the Diors school visited La Martinerie for a different program, tailored to each grade level.

The sixth graders focused on World War I, while the fifth graders learned about museums and their mission, about the Bleuet (Cornflower), and the evolution of everyday objects.

It was an educational morning, and the teacher, who was delighted to see again the model of the trenches she had created with her students in 2018 for the WW1 bicentennial and which she had entrusted to us, hopes to repeat this visit next year.
