La Martinerie

It's done; mission accomplished: the entire personal museum of Mr. Michel Petit, donated to “les Amis de La Martinerie” by his wife, Mauricette Petit, is now housed in “la Maison départementale de la mémoire militaire”.

Thank you to our three teams of volunteers who, in the sweltering heat, carried out that mission. Thanks to Antoine, Bruno, Denis, Franck, Frédéric, Gérard, Jacky, Jean-François, the two Jean-Pierres, Rémi, Sophie, and Xavier. Thanks also to Frédéric, Bruno, Rémi, and his wife, who carried out the initial sorting work.

Now we need to finish sorting, cataloging, storing, and/or exhibiting all the items.

We will be able to offer some wonderful documentary references to the students of the Indre department (more details coming soon).

We will also, soon, be seeing photos of the objects in our display cases.
